PE Dance Teacher and Cheerleading Coach | College: University of Puerto Rico

Coach Santiago was born in Naranjito, PR, and studied at Santa Teresita Academy from K-12. Coach Santiago was very active in participating in different school activities and sports. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Adapted Physical Education from the University of Puerto Rico at Bayamon. In which I also participated in the cheerleading team. This opportunity not only brought her the joy of winning the national championship five times but also allowed her to compete outside the island and train in different states. Santiago has two beautiful children and loves to work out in her free time.

Master/Coach | Club/College: Caribbean Martial Arts Academy

Master Rios is a 4th Dan black belt with a 3rd dan Kukkiwon certificate, USA Taekwondo certificate coach level 1, and GAL license. Master Rios serves as the Taekwondo instructor for our afterschool sports and aftercare programs.

Volleyball Coach | Club: Hunters Volleyball Academy

Cortes started his career in sports at the age of 15 as a basketball referee in Puerto Rico. He studied at the University of Puerto Rico, Bayamon Campus, in Adapted Physical Education. Before working in education, Coach Cortes started his journey in volleyball with a group of kids that were basketball players, and he ranked in the first 4 in Puerto Rico. Coach Cortes serves as a liaison between the school and universities.

PE Teacher VCS K5/Sports Coach | College: University Turabo PR.

Coach Casillas is 36 years old and was born in Humacao, Puerto Rico. All his life, he studied in Las Piedras, Puerto Rico. Since the second grade, he was very attracted to sports, and his favorite class was Physical Education. He studied for his university degree in Gurabo at the University of Turabo. The coach acquired a bachelor’s degree in K-12 Physical Education in 2014. Casillas began his professional career in 2015, working in a public school in Puerto Rico. He enjoys having the opportunity to impact students’ lives in different ways and help them in their personal and physical development, making them good people for the future.
